Your dentist will need to make a custom fit tray and will take
impressions for this at the first appointment. On the second visit the
tray and some teeth whitening gel will be provided for you to use at
home.
The gel has the product hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide.
This is broken down, oxygen gets into the enamel on the teeth and the
tooth colour is made lighter.
How often do I wear the Trays?
The trays with the teeth whitening gel should be worn a minimum of
two hours aday on daily basis, but most patients tend to wear them over
night.
How long does it take?
If the instructions are followed maximum results are seen usually after 10-14 days of use.
